The Hougham and Marston Email Service (HAMES) is a means of putting messages out to the two villages - free of charge. It makes use of Google Groups.
HAMES is used to spread information on local events, clubs and societies, neighbourhood watch, road works, and anything else of direct interest to residents. It is not used for jokes. It is also not used for advertising, although exceptions may be made for businesses located in the two villages.
As at 2 January 2024, HAMES had 248 subscribers in and near the two villages.
