Minutes of the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council held on 16th May 2019

at Hougham & Marston Village Hall at 7.30 pm

Present :  Cllr P Cartwright (in the Chair), Cllrs Brown,  Morrell, O’Sullivan and Watson and Dist Cllrs Paul and Jane Wood.

The new Community Cleaner, Nick Sauer, was in attendance and his duties were discussed with Councillors and his job description finalised.

Apologies – Cty Cllr Maughan and Cllr Morley.

Election of Chairman: it was proposed by Cllr Brownand seconded by Cllr Morrell, and agreed unanimously,  that Cllr Cartwright continue as Chair for the coming year.  He had accepted the position at a previous meeting and signed his Declaration of Acceptance of Office.

Election of Vice Chairman : It was proposed by Cllr Brown and seconded by Cllr Morrell , and agreed unanimously, that Cllr Morley continue as Vice Chairman.  He will sign his Declaration of Acceptance of Office.

All other Councillors signed their Declarations of Acceptance of Office.

Chairman’s Report – the Chairman had circulated his report prior to this meeting and a copy is attached.
